T.H. Corfield T.B. obtained a mathematic Scholarship at Pembroke Coll: Ox: and C.R. Beaven (QS) a mathematical Demyship at Magdalen College Oxford.
B.F. Watherston (O.W) (QS) obtained the Junior Scholarship for Mathematics at Oxford, this being the first time an O.W has gained this distinction.
In consequence of the event recorded above, Mr Fox has exchanged the mastership of Homeboarders for that of Ashburnham House with Rev. G.H. Nall, an event much deplored by the former
The marriage of Mr E.L. Fox occurred on the last day of the Play Term. He led to the alter Miss Alice Mary Livingston, who sister Mr Raynor married. The ceremony was performed in the Abbey by the Dean, and Mr Raynor. Several O.W.W and members of the school were present.

Some slight trouble arose in the Deb. Soc. It was proposed that S.C.Probyn should be ejected for disturbing harmony of the meetings but rejected by 20 to 4 on a decision. The Vice-president then resigned and S C Probyn was elected in his stead.
