About a week before the first night of the play H. Waterfield Captain of Q.SS broke the bone of his little toe in a football match & was therefore unable to take part in the play.

Mr Turle the organist at the Abbey having died his house falls to the School. We shall thus be able probably to connect Ashburnham House to Great School by the House which is to be build to replace Mr Turles which the authorities think must be pulled down.
