Mr. H.A. Severn, who has been very successful as a scientific lecturer in Australia & New Zealand, gave three lectures to us in school on Jan. 29th, Feb. 5th and 7th upon Voltaic Electricity, Spectrum Analysis and Magnetism. The lecturers were very well attended by members of the school & by a few visitors, & were very interesting. Mr. Severn is a brother of an old Westminster.
