The Pancake Greeze took place as usual on Shrove Tuesday at 12.30. College John succeeded in clearing the bar at the second throw, & the pancake fell in the under remove horseshoe. D.S. Long & A.S. Waterfield obtained enough of the pancake together to get the sovereign from the Dean. The Head-master expressed to the Sixth the opinion that the Greeze was an ungentlemanly performance & requested that they would not take part in it. He also put a stop to the supplementary greeze at school doors.
