A Shrove Tuesday fell on St David’s day this year the Pancake was thrown at 9 o’clock after Sir Walkin-Wynn’s annual visit. It fell between the Under School and Under fifth Horse-shoes and was at first secured by H.G. Gwinner T.B. from whose grasp however it was soon ruthlessly torn and as no one could present more than half the Dean was not called upon to distribute the usual sum.
