On Frid: Feb: 6th: Mr Robert Scott F.R.S. treated us to a lecture on “Meteorological Phenomena”; explaining amongst other things the oyster which is [pursued?] in the construction of the daily weather charts for the papers.
Mr Ralston, (who lectured at the school this term last year) again was so kind as to entertain us with one of his amusing lectures: he chose as a peg whereon to hang his discourse the Text of Plautus as illustrated by Folklore throughout the world.
