The play was performed very successfully this year, in spite of Waterfield’s Mishap. On the first Night some TBB thought good to make themselves objectionable by clapping in time & shouting. The Monitors wished to tan some of the ringleaders for this but Dr Scott refused permission on their appealing to him & they got “30 lines” or something similar instead.
