The charterhouse match was played on Dec 27th: Westminster losing by 5-0. It is only fair to say that we had extremely hard luck. Page our captain put his knee out just before half time (he had not been able to play for a fortnight before) and Cox followed his example a few moments later.…

I regret to record the death of Sargent Cansell the gymnasium instructor. He was universally popular. A subscription was raised in the school for his family and about £14 was subscribed.
