As no entries appear to have been made last Term, I may as well mention one or two events of interest that happened.
There was a slight outbreak of Scarlat fever up Grant’s/ in consequence of which the school was closed for rather more than a fortnight. Owing to this, the school concert was again omitted. Also for fear of infection the general school were not allowed to go to Godalming for the cricket match against Charterhouse by an innings and 15 runs (these events do not properly come within my province but I think their importance justifies me in recording them).
