The cast of the play was as follows

Chremes           E. H. Cox

Phaedria           R. Waterfield

Davus                P. B. Henderson

Nausistrata     W. C. Mayne

Cratinus       P. E. Knapp

Criot              C. R. Beau

The play was successful on the whole. Some of the parts were splendidly played, notably Phormio:  D. Shearme rendering of this part was almost faultless. Nesbitt’s Geta was perhaps the most unpleasant. He appplied for three of the most important parts, an din the pat he got, short as it was, dipslayed an amount of affectation little short of loathesome.

The epilogue written by J.B. Hodge Esq was fulll of points from beginning to end but might have been better received.
