I ought to have inserted higher up that the KS challenged the TB to a rubber at Raquets in the year /43 which was contested at 9 o clock in the morning when the TBs won the first game early, & carried on at 12-o-‘clock when the KS won the two next & thus it terminated in their favour. The K.S. Players were L.S. Cramer & J Smart both then Seniors, & the TB players were R & J Prestons then in the Sixth. The last two games were won in good style by the Q.S. and by a good majority.
