                                                     The Westminster Play

The Andria of Terence was performed in College Dormitory on the evenings of December 12th, 16th & 18th, and was followed on each night as usual by an Epilogue, preceded by the Prologue on the last two nights. The cast was as follows:-

Simo –  C. A. Phillimore

Sosia –  A. C. Nesbitt

Davus –  F. S. Phillimore

Pamphilus –  A. L. Longhurst

Charinus –  G. G. G. S. Gillett

Byosphia –  L. F. Smith

Chremes –  P. Williamson

Mysis –  R. Balfour

Lesbia –  P. B. Henderson

Crito –  H. L. Stephenson

Dromo –  R. W. Knox

The play was on the whole favourably criticised by the press, the notices all inclining to the opinion that the performance of 1889, tho’ not perhaps an unusually brilliant one, in no wise fell below the average.

The Epilogue was written by H…… Webbe.
