The Charterhouse match was played on July 25th, when we were beaten by 149 runs. The Carthusians went in first and put together 274 runs. Tritton and Hurst bowled well, the latter taking 5 wickets for 35 runs. Coulby played a splendid innings of 144 not out. None of out XI shewed very well except Higgins, who played a good 170 and Bedford a useful 20.
