Last term the Lawn Tennis Ties were played off up fields. There were two sets of Ties, Senior and Junior; the latter being for boys below the fifths. The Ties were brought to a conclusion on the last day of the term, where the winners were as follows
Senior Round
F.C. Ryde, winner beating F.W. Bain in the final Tie, 6,6, against 5,5.
Junior Round
C.W. Crowdy, winner, beating Brown in the final Tie 6,6, against 3,2.
