H. Morgan Brown Q.S , obtained the Gumbleton prize, the subject being ‘The Athemian Expedition to Syracuse’ The Ireland Latin prose prize was awarded to B. M. The Queen went in prosecution to open parliament on the 21st January. By the kindness of the Dean a stand was erected at the East end of Henry VII chapal for the use of the school which showed its loyalty by cheering vociferously the Queen & Prince of Wales. C.Bompas/ Prin.Opp
