There was a school collection on St. Michael’s Day which amounted to 22.17.9. the money was given to the parish of Christ Church, Watney, S1 as before.

On Feb: 24th: a school collection was made in Abbey, which reached 18 guineas, and was devoted to the fund raised by the Duchess of Marlborough for the relief of distress in Ireland.
The [sic] was a school collection in Abbey on St: Luke’s Day: the amount collected was £19.19.4, which was to be devoted to Miss Allen’s “South African Mission Work”:- the sermon was preached by the Revd A Sloman.
