The sports took place Friday & Saturday March 24 & 25, in May= mirificent weather.

On the first day J.G. Veitch. H. Berens, C. J Agar, D. P. Winckworth, & afterwards A.L. Longhurst officiated: on th second day G.P. Stevens, C.A. Benn, A.L. Longhurst, H. Berens & H. J. Clarke.

Mrs Rutherford gave away the prizes . i intend to place in the ledger box a sports programme with a full list of results & so shall not give a detailed account of hers.

Kirlew’s High Jump and Robertson’s Hammer (both Kirlew & Robertson being TBB) are worthy of special remark.

In the House Tug of War, on the first day, HBB pulled over Ashbrunahm 1st & 3rd time, but offered the third pull over again, as ashburnham were not ready when ashburnham won.

QSS pulling over TBB was a great surprise to many, as TBB were by far the heavier team, through three of the originallly chosen team were unable to pull.
