For the sixth time in succession Riguards won the T.B Sheild. Grants scratching in the final. This team was unusually strong consisting of five Pinks, four Pink and Whites and two 3rd elevens, eight of the team having played for the school.

In the Shield matches, Grants beat Ashburnham (6-2) both sides giving a shocking exhibition, and Rigauds created a record by beating HBB (15-0)
In the final Riguards beat H.B.B. 2-0. Riguards thus won the shield for the Vth time in succession.
Riguards beat Grants 2-1 after 20 minutes extra. Riguards pressed nearly all the time but were unable to score — The Grantite goal was offside – Riguard forwards were disgraceful except R. E More.
