Commemoration was held on Friday November 17th. Afterwards a reception was given by the Head-Master up-school at which a large number of Cambridge O.W.W. were present. S. C. Probyn. Prin. Opp.
The pieces selected for orations this term were Alexander’s First (only four competitors G. Eady T.B. 1 G.E. Locke T.B. 2). The second piece produced only three competitors and was Milton’s sonnets on his blindness Eady and Locke being equal first. S. C. Probyn. Prin. Opp.
The mission offertory on st. Luke’s Day with the Headmasters subscription amounted to £20. 10. 10. S. C. Probyn. Prin. Opp.
