The Prologue was written by F. W. Hall and referred to the omission of the play in 1892 and congratulated the Duke of York on his marriage and Winchester on its quingentenary. It further lamented the death of Lord Ebury, the Rev C. G Lane and C. E Page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Epilogue was written by B. M Goldie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
