In the matches for the Football Shield Rigaud\u2019s, as was expected, was finally victorious. Grant\u2019s beat Home Boarders & on the following Thursday met Rigaud\u2019s. A very sharp game resulted in draw (1-1), though Rigaud\u2019s had a very strong XI. On Thursday March 20 the two houses again met, Grant\u2019s having trained vigorously during the previous week. During the first half time a run & shot by Pigott on behalf of Grant\u2019s & by Hurst for Rigaud\u2019s were both foiled by the respective goal-keepers.
