The Athletics came off on Wed: and Thurd: Oct: 15th<\/sup> and 16th<\/sup>; both days were exceptionally fine, though the first day was a little too cold. There was a very fair attendance of visitors, more especially on the second day.<\/p>\n

The Mile was won by Stephenson W \u2013 in 5.10 \u00be. (This is the third yr: running that he had won the mile.) G.R. Ogle was 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The following events were also won by T.B.B.<\/p>\n

All events under 15 were of course won by T.B.B. The Tug of War was won easily by T.B.B.<\/p>\n

A new event was added to the programme this yr: in the shape of a \u201cHalf-Mile Handicap\u201d in which Stuart-Edwards was second, & Stephenson W was third.<\/p>\n

In the O.W. race (120 yds) Bedford. C. was first, and Leggatt second, both T.B.B.<\/p>\n

In \u201cConsolation\u201d Frere was third.<\/p>\n

This yr: the Pole-Jump under 16 and Bicycle-race were omitted, both of which were included in last year\u2019s programme.<\/p>\n

The prizes were given away by Mrs Farrar and the sports were completed by 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
